The new team member we are looking for is a Digital Marketing Coordinator, Content Department. This role works with the content department team members in collaboration with our client services team to develop and execute digital, social, and traditional content marketing strategies. Ideal candidates will have a good understanding of social media best practices, AP Styleguide, and particularly paid social media opportunities and execution. The ideal candidate will have a background in one or more of the following industries: healthcare, hospitality, criminal justice/law, nonprofits, and higher education. High priority is given to candidates with experience in two or more of the following:

Paid Social Media Strategy and Execution 

  • Facebook & Instagram ad network

    • LinkedIn

    • Twitter 

    • Influencer engagement and marketing

  • SEO/SEM strategy and execution 

  • Google AdWords 

  • Comprehensive digital and social marketing initiatives 

  • Expertise with paid campaigns in “special” categories like housing and recruitment

Digital Marketing Coordinator, Content Department (Full-time)

The direct report is Director of Content. This role interfaces with all members of the team but most directly the Director of Content and Content team.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with development of social and content strategy documents and deliverables

  • Assist with the execution and optimization of paid social and other digital marketing initiatives and campaigns

    • Paid campaign strategy 

    • Client presentation of strategy 

    • Project management of collateral and assets

    • Execution and optimization of campaigns

    • Reporting and recommendations 

  • Drafting multi-purpose content for clients ranging from web copy to social posts to brochures and media messaging

  • Developing, executing, and monitoring paid social media, digital ad buys and marketing campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter ads as well as Google AdWords) 

  • Monitoring client social channels for any inbound messages, comments, reviews, etc.

  • Responding accordingly and/or forwarding information to the right point-of-contact

  • Acting as a point-of-contact and community manager regarding Facebook events or Eventbrite pages

  • Assist with Google/Yelp reviews

  • Assist with onboarding new and potential clients

  • Social, Web, and SEO audits

  • Creating client accounts in scheduling software and/or Business Manager

  • Competitor analysis, SWOT analysis, etc.

  • Brand standardization

  • Scheduling client social channels utilizing scheduling tools

  • Drafting social media posts and overseeing community management

  • Create, monitor, and report on relevant/important digital information and happenings to Account Managers and/or clients

  • Creating and monitoring client Facebook Event and Eventbrite pages

  • Assisting Interactive Design Manager and Digital Department with site audits and keyword research

  • Attending relevant client calls and meetings

  • Assist with scribing, note-taking, and follow-ups with Account Managers

  • Offering support on relevant digital/social matters and happenings

  • Attend and assist with relevant client events (on-site and via Zoom)

  • Other duties as assigned
